Functional update MEPcontent

In a functional update of MEPcontent.com attention was paid to the retrieval and overview on the website.

User: quickly find what you need
• Button for following manufacturers that sends an e-mail alert if the manufacturer adds new articles to the portal.
• New search mechanism provides increased search speed and improved search results.
• Language-specific search results.
• If the GTIN of a product is known, the technical properties, if available, will be retrieved from the Rensa database. This detailed information can be viewed at a glance.
• Families sometimes contain various types with different GTIN and article number, so other properties. On MEPcontent, you can instantly see which types are in the family, and by selecting a type from the list, you can view the corresponding technical properties.

Supplier: make your range visible
• Profile page of the suppliers with a preview of the four most recently uploaded articles and the description, contact button, and link to the manufacturer’s website.
• Review page for the manufacturer to assess articles before they are placed on the live portal.
• One summary page with random logos of all suppliers and a search field for finding specific manufacturers.

Updated MEPcontent browser

The development of the MEPcontent Browser app coincides with the updating of comparable functionality in Stabicad. In the latest version, a good advance has been made in
ease of use:

•   Automatic notification if a new version of previously downloaded content has been posted to the portal. That way you are working with up-to-date product information at all times.
•   The browser remains open when you insert items into your model or drawing, so no time is wasted on reloading items.
•   Manual selection of the country from which you want to view the items. This also lets you view items from other countries besides the one linked to your login.
•   Adjusting the order of arrangement for the various levels (system, manufacturer, category) in the tree structure: you determine which levels to use for sorting and the order in which to arrange them.
•   The browser remembers the previous view (images or list).
•   Faster loading of items.
•   There are automatically more results when scrolling, so you can continue to browse.
•   Searching via the Enter key.
