LEGIOMIX® is an advanced electronic mixing valve with digital control of temperature for commercial domestic hot water systems. The daily exercise function keeps the ball valve free of scale build-up to ensure smooth operation. Rated highest in the market for flow capacity, this feature packed product also has an industry exclusive calendar-based scheduling program for automatic circuit thermal disinfection.The LEGIOMIX® electronic mixing valve provides precise temperature control over very low and very high flow rate demand, minimal pressure drop with a ball valve control element, automatic self-cleaning to prevent scale formation and easy-to-use digital interface with data logging, alarming and status indication. The LEGIOMIX electronic mixing valve is furnished with a controller with LCD user interface that provides a set of programs for circuit thermal disinfection to kill Legionella. The controller is configurable via keypad, or local or remote computer. Depending on the type of system and habits of the user, temperature levels and operation times can be programmed as desired. In addition, it comes standard with monitoring and remote control connections.The LEGIOMIX6000 series electronic mixing valve is powered by 24 VAC. (Caleffi provides a 115/24 VAC transformer in the package.) It is ICC-ES certified to ASSE 1017 and CSA B125.3. It complies with codes IPC, IRC, NPC and UPC for use in accordance with the US and Canadian plumbing codes, and standard NSF/ANSI 372, low lead. Also, it meets the requirement of CSA Z317.1 Special Requirement for Plumbing Installations in Health Care Facilities, certified by ICC-ES.

Application control

In addition, it comes standard with monitoring and remote control connections.The LEGIOMIX Station is pre-piped with LEGIOMIX 3-way mixing valve with union connections, serviceable low-lead stainless steel check valves, a recirculation connection and low-lead isolation valves for fast and simple installation. The LEGIOMIX controller is pre-mounted and pre-wired to the valve actuator, return water temperature sensor and tempered water sensor in a packaged wall mount configuration with steel uni-strut frame that can bolt to the wall through any of the perforations. The assembly also includes copper type L pipe and a 24 VAC transformer.The LEGIOMIX6000 series electronic mixing valve complies with the requirements of NSF/ANSI 372-2016 as certified by ICC-ES, and is certified to ASSE 1017, CSA B125.3, UPC, IPC, Low Lead Laws and listed by ICC-ES for use in accordance with the U.S. and Canadian plumbing codes. The valve meets the requirement of CSA Z317.1 Special Requirement for Plumbing Installations in Health Care Facilities, certified by ICC-ES.

After installation, the valve will control at the pre-adjusted pressure setting.The valve is constructed of DZR low-lead forged brass and incorporates a unique noise reducing and high flow seat design, is easily serviced with a replaceable cartridge and has an integral stainless steel filter (35 mesh), suitable for water systems that may contain sediment and debris.The valve is ICC-ES certified to ASSE 1003, CSA B356, NSF/ANSI/CAN 61 (180°F/82°C Commercial Hot), NSF 372, low lead laws and listed by ICC-ES. It meets codes IPC, IRC, UPC and NPC for use in accordance with the US and Canadian plumbing codes. Plenum rated: compliant with the requirements of standard UL 2043, without the outdoor protective cover.
